Drop in classes are now available (physical distancing applies) at £9 per session. 
You are more than welcome to join us during a term, I will amend the cost accordingly.

 

THE STORY

The Science and Art of Yoga is Discovered Through a Purposeful, Mindful Practice

Yoga with Louise offers traditional Rishiculture Ashtanga Yoga, also known as traditional Hatha Yoga. Each class develops a physical and mindful practice through a series of Asanas, Jattis, Kriyas, Pranayamas and Relaxation. Louise trained with Yogacharini Kalavathi Devi at the OM Studio in Cardiff and is continuing her learning and practice of Gitananda Yoga under the guidance of Yogachariya Dr Ananda Bhavanani. Everyone is able to 'do' Yoga. There is no competition, no judgement. Everyone is welcome.

CLASSES

Classes resume on the 8th September 2021.

Classes are in the Talbot Institute in Kenfig Hill, a lovely large, light and airy space.

All you need is you, a mat, water and a blanket.

 

GENERAL YOGA

Wednesday 5 pm - 6:30 pm
Wednesday 6:45 pm - 8:15 pm
(Resuming 8th September)

We work in a step by step manner, taking time to loosen the body with different jattis before moving into more physical work. Every class explores different Kriyas (movement with the breath), Asanas (static physical postures), Pranayama (breathing exercises) and relaxation techniques. 


These traditional Hatha Yoga classes focus on balancing the energy within us, ridding ourselves of the negative and grounding the body. Creating a wonderful awareness of the 'Self'. 

Everyone and every body can 'do' Yoga. Start your journey today and discover the shining light within!

Sometimes we want something more personal. 

One to one sessions provide you with a personalised Yoga plan, daily practices and importantly that individual time.

One to one Yoga sessions are ideal for those wanting to focus on something specific or for those that cannot attend a large group class. 

YOGA WORKSHOPS

Workshops are longer classes, usually between 3 and 4 hours. This allows us to take more time and delve deeper into Yogic practices.

YOGA DAY RETREAT

August 8th 2021

Set in the beautiful grounds of Kenfig Nature Reserve. A day of yoga to take your practice a little further leaving you relaxed and energised. 

Delicious good food will be provided and a walk to enable transition between the morning and afternoon sessions. 

Spaces are limited so please get in touch to find out more and reserve your space.

Class pricing structure from September 2021

I will offer classes as a term time block. I appreciate that this can be expensive as a one off payment so there is an option to pay per the half term. If you are unable to attend your regular class you are welcome to come to the other class on offer but a class cannot be carried into the next term.
